Our Heritage. A Terroir, A History

In the heart of Sainte-Victoire, we give a new lease on life to thousand-year-old olive trees rescued from Spain. Replanted in a forest setting, they thrive alongside a preserved ecosystem. A place where every tree tells the story of a living heritage, which we protect and pass on with care.

Our Approach

Maurizio, our forefather, found refuge here while fleeing Mussolini’s Italy. Since then, our family has cared for this forest. Our unique approach: to breathe new life into the lost olive grove by replanting extraordinary trees some a thousand years old, others a century old brought from Spain to give them a second life. Each tree is a living link between the past and the present, a witness to the history of this place and our family’s commitment. The Templar ruins, the Roman legacy, and these rescued trees together form a living and exceptional heritage that we protect with care.

A Natural Haven

Forty hectares in the heart of a protected mountain range, where wild forest, a revitalized olive grove, and a lake coexist. The biodiversity here is exceptional: deer, wild boars, birds of prey, and rare birds thrive alongside millennia-old and century-old olive trees that have been replanted. Every tree, every path, every water source contributes to the fragile balance of this place, which we carefully preserve so that its authenticity and magic endure, and so that these guardians of time may continue their new life in the Cézanne mountain range.

A Family Story

A Vision for the Future

Christian Davico and Julie Davico-Pahin share a common vision: that of a demanding entrepreneurial spirit, guided by purpose and the passing down of tradition. As father and daughter, they are now putting their experience to work on a deeply personal project.

This estate marks a return to their roots, in a place steeped in family history. Together, they pursue a sincere ambition: to accurately reveal the richness of the terroir, strive for sustainable excellence, and build a legacy for generations to come.
